Who are we? Just two gals, Erin and Danielle, who love to travel and have adventures! Our friendship began in our local quilt guild several years ago, and since then, we have gone on many adventures.  With Erin’s planning and love for detail combined with Danielle’s quirky humor and willingness to try just about anything, we have had the most fun whether we are exploring the fashion district in NYC or even hiking the Grand Canyon (“The Death March,” as Danielle calls it!).  One thing is certain– if we are together, we are always plotting and planning our next collaboration, spanning from our latest quilt, a teaching event, or even how to design a craft show booth.  When we realized how well we worked together, we knew this was a friendship and partnership worth nurturing, and now we inviting you to join us on our next collaborative effort, Cruising Creatives.

Meet Danielle

Danielle has always been a crafty girl, but when she discovered quilting 24 years ago, it became her insatiable passion. For the last 19 years, Danielle has been teaching in local shops and is an accomplished longarm quilter. She has quilted for industry designers and national teachers, thus having her work end up in a few books, magazines, and even on the Janome shopping bag. A former public school teacher herself, Danielle continues to share her love of sewing, quilting, and embroidery through education.

Meet Erin

Erin’s love of sewing started young and has turned into a passion that she shares with others through workshops, kids summer camps, and a variety of technique based sewing classes. She’s been published in several publications, designs her own line of sewing patterns with Schlosser Designs, combined her love of sewing and background of interior design into her newest book, Sew Home, works with several fabric companies designing projects to promote new fabric lines, and continues to share her love of sewing as often as she can!
